Combat boots are the ideal footwear for anybody seeking an edgy style. They’re the go-to solution when you want to rapidly raise up and add an edgy edge to a so-and-so ensemble.
However, you may put together a variety of combat footwear ensembles. From a punk and rocker style to a feminine and refined ensemble. It all comes down to how you dress them.
In any case, a good pair of combat boots will never go unnoticed. They are statement shoes that should be complemented by the appropriate clothing, not the other way around.

Combat Boots with Jeans
Skinny jeans with combat boots
Combining traditional skinny jeans with combat boots, especially in a trendy high waisted version, is a terrific look. You have four boot style possibilities if your skinny jeans are ankle length or longer:
Put on your combat boots and tuck your pants in.
Allow them to bunch up or lie above the boots.
Roll up your ankle jeans to make a cuff that extends above or below the boot shaft.
Wear ankle socks over your pants, just above your combat boots.
If your slim jeans are cropped, throw on your combat boots and you’re ready to go!
I prefer a slight space between the end of the denim and the top of the boot, but that’s just a personal preference. Many people choose to have their jeans finish where their combat boots begin, which is just great!
For higher waisted options, pair your combat boots with a cropped tee, tucked shirt, or bodysuit. If it’s chilly outdoors, layer a midi-length cardigan and any jacket.
Straight-leg jeans and combat boots
Straight leg jeans, whether narrow or loose, look excellent with combat boots! In fact, they’re one of my favorite boots to pair with straight leg jeans.
If you wish to wear your combat boots over, your jeans will be wide enough to merely slide over them, as seen in the photographs above.
However, if you want to give the appearance a more casual twist, you may roll up your jeans. Depending on the duration, once or twice. Finish the appearance with a semi-tucked sweater or shirt. Layer it over anything from a moto jacket to a warm cardigan.
Combat Boots with Leggings
What should you wear with combat boots? Leggings are a no-brainer! Particularly fake leather leggings. They’ve been on top of the trends for years and show no signs of going away.
Pair basic black leggings with black or white combat boots. Maroon ones are also lovely! Moto leggings with massive zippers, quilted panels, or studs provide a stylish touch.

Combat boots ensembles, without a doubt, may seem macho and robust. That’s why I like to match them with more feminine things. So when I think of “what to wear with combat boots,” I think of gorgeous outfits!
Combat boots are one of my favorite dresses to combine with boots – and there are many! – especially with softer skirts.

Silky materials are ideal for nights out, and combat boots keep you moving! A lovely little black sweater dress might also work for a comfortable and cool vibe.
Choose a breezy poplin little black tunic dress for a playful casual appearance. Empire waisted with full or puff sleeves are now popular.

Casual clothes with combat boots are ideal for relaxed, pleasant days. The sweater dress has arrived. Is there anything more relaxing on a cold, fresh day? It’s simple to pair combat boots with a turtleneck dress!
Choose a knee-length to calf-length dress, tights or bare legs (if the weather permits), and slip on your boots. Add a warm trench coat on top.
Maxi Skirt
With combat boots, you can make your flowing maxi dress seem more tough. Boots may be a fun alternative to sneakers or heels, especially if neither are your thing. Linen maxi dresses will be ideal for the summer.
Choose something a little heavier for the fall. I adore combat boots with a velvet or flowy flowery dress! With a denim jacket and a leather tote bag, you’ll be ready to do errands in style.

Wear a slip dress with combat boots for a stunning hard versus soft contrast. For more edge, throw a leather jacket on top. If leather jackets aren’t your thing, throw on a lovely furry cardigan or shaw.
A cropped sweater would also look well! PS: A slip dress with a sensual split can seamlessly transport you from a first date to cocktails with friends.

Darker washes look well with black boots. Playing with patterns may also be enjoyable. A leopard print cowhide combat boot, for example.
Wear a collared shirt beneath a knit sweater for an Ivy League style. Pair your denim skirt with a chambray blouse for a double denim appearance.

Everyone should possess a leather skirt. Especially one with a black leather skirt! This basic wardrobe essential complements combat boots brilliantly.
Of course, black boots will go with everything. However, you may also wear brown, red, or white boots.

Slim formal pants that stop just above your ankle will highlight your combat boots perfectly. If they’re longer, tuck them in. What should you wear with black combat boots? Everything is black!

Cargo pants look great with combat boots. Consider the action-adventure cartoon character Kim Possible! Who doesn’t want to seem that prepared for action? Choose cargos with an elastic hem that reaches the top of your boots.

Combat Boots with a Pantsuit
You could believe that because pantsuits are more formal, they will not go with combat boots. The answer is no, that is not the case! They can look fantastic together. With a plaid pantsuit and navy-blue or black combat boots, channel your inner Clueless or schoolgirl.
Any pair of combat boots will look good with a neutral suit. If you’re feeling brave, go for a brightly colored pantsuit with matching patent combat boots!
Never underestimate the power of an all-black pantsuit with contrast white combat boots or an all-white pantsuit with multicolored or black combat boots! You’ll appear stylish yet sophisticated no matter how you wear it.

What should you wear with white combat boots? Shorts made of denim! Especially if they’re light-washed. Put on your big boots, a graphic T-shirt, and a warm button-down around your waist. A crossbody bag will round off the look.
Choose a shirt with a rock & roll mood for extra points! PS: Black combat boots look amazing with dark or black denim shorts as well.
Wear boyfriend shorts or cropped shorts, but avoid longer, knee-length shorts. Combat boots and shorts ensembles are undoubtedly more young and exude punk vibes!
Tights with leather shorts
When the temperature cools down but you still want to wear your shorts, pair them with tights! It’s the ideal answer. Leather shorts with black tights and black combat boots are a stylish yet seasonally acceptable ensemble.
